Just got my ballot for the next set of initiatives - and two of them involve the heritance of citizenship, one involving second-generation Swiss and the other to third-generation foreigners born in Switzerland acquiring citizenship...heady stuff.
I'm not sure if the first one is limiting how many generations can claim Swiss citizenship - but it might hit me and mine, so I'm watching.
The one thing - maybe the only thing - that mattered to Cliff, was that he could claim to be Swiss.
There's that, and the fact I really enjoy it as well makes it important not to lose it.
Go ahead, complain about paying taxes. I may end up paying them to two countries - get your head around that.
