Day 742: July 21, 2016

The Enid A. Haupt Garden

This garden sits behind the Smithonian Institution’s “Castle Building” and contains the entrances to two lesser-known, underground Smithsonian museums, the Sackler Gallery and the National Museum of African Art. The Arts & Industries Building, the second of the many museum buildings to be built on the National Mall, can be seen in the background.

I've been there. I loved it. I went to about half of the museums before I ran out of time.

Oh, we've been there! And wandered into the museums. There are also really cool exhibits in the hallways...or maybe the whole thing is the Sackler with other stuff off the hallways. Either way, it's just all really neat. :)
