Too little time, too much content -
Sep. 20th, 2004 01:16 pmAnd I type fast, but not fast enough.
lilikoica - Surf's UP! - from
tdj. Surfing Ivan. Holy cow.
Last night was pie night on Food TV. PIE NIGHT. DAMN YOU.
I asked for it, I got it - Kerry on Iraq.
Read a ways. It take a while to get to the good stuff.
I put a John Denver CD in the changer this morning. Barry Manilow wasn't bad enough.
A unique voice, terrific orchestration and folksy without being entirely in the key of C. I am a dork.
I'm hoping the digital camera gets back here before
being_homeless gets here the end of the month. Ghad, she's a brave little toaster....
I've asked for a new Sunset Magazine subscription - talk about a long-term relationship. I remember "reading" this one when I could only look at the pictures...yes, I remember that far back. And it goes that far back. They are also cheap-ass bastards for not putting recipes on the public site. So there.
I twisted Jim's arm Saturday night and we went to the 3rd Street Promenade for a noisy, but tasty dinner - a bookstore run, and I got to get inside a LUSH store and get my girly soap. Santa Monica is nuckingfutz - nothing's changed. But what a place to simply sit and people watch - could have done nothing else for hours, I'm certain.
Came in to work this morning, to find out a co worker had his car totalled in a rear-ender on the same freeway we were on. Were that to happen to us, they'd total the car, hand me $500 and wish me well. Right. You try to find something you can drive for $500. Insurance? Suuuure. Both cars have over 200,000 miles on them -
Just don't hit me, please.
Headspace is in bitch mode, still. If I had nothing to do for more than twelve hours, I'm sure that would change.
