I think they must have tested the new update interface using Mozilla. It's strange...but not unlikeable.
Jim's fever has turned into a full-blown UTI - pissing blood and everything (TMI...) and required a call to his doctor on the infamous after-hours line.
I had a callback in five minutes. And no, I did not deem it an emergency - I still got the call back that fast.
I. Love. My. Doctors.
A script for Cipro was written, we went out and picked it up, had lunch - and that was all the gas Jim had in his tank.
He's running a low-grade fever, I'm putting glasses of fluids in front of him - making him take nasty, awful, no-good, evil cranberry capsules (get over it Jim) - and he is tormenting me with really good stand-up comedy for anime geeks from his sickbed. (Imagine a Elvis impersonator as a Pokemon trainer - complete with a Salamence named Priscilla that trains using PBJs. Uh-huh-huh.) He's getting even with me for being such a nasty nurse. He's telling me Dragonball Z pastiches as well.
Unpacking boxes and finding treasures - still, a year later. The box by the door for Trick or Treat is almost full, and I'll begin another one tonight I'm certain.
Such excitement. If Jim goes to work by Wednesday, I'll be amazed.

Date: 2004-09-25 08:17 pm (UTC)I think you're right about Mozilla - I know the creators/programmers here are very anti-IE, and would recommend anything over it. Do you use Mozilla?
I haven't tried it in Netscape 7.1, maybe it looks better there. I'm using the update page, but I don't care for it. It's too wide.

Date: 2004-09-27 07:00 am (UTC)I'm a whining baby when I get sick...
Hell, I'm a whining baby most of the time,
divorce and too much stress do that to a
body. Again...I hope things get better
real soon.

Date: 2004-09-28 05:36 pm (UTC)I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the people working on the site used Mozilla, but I'm pretty sure they'd at least have tried to make it work in ie too. If there really is a problem in your specific version of ie, you might want to e-mail them about it, or just upgrade or switch to a better browser (Mozilla/Firefox/Opera/etc...I think Firefox is the best right now for most users). ;)
