I'm nowhere near any earthquake activity today. My friends in San Ramon are reporting getting landsick today, though. Those pressure waves really travel a fair distance -

If we're going to start naming earthquakes, we can name this one Wuss.

I think earthquakes go unnamed because they inherit names from where they're located. If they had moving centers the way hurricanes do they'd get names of their own.

*chuckles* They have to come up with names every year for the hurricanes - they're a bit predictable, after all.

Earthquakes always seem to take people by surprise - as if the ground shaking is Just Not Normal!

We’re glad y’all are OK. Mo and I were about four miles from the epicenter of Northridge ’94 (6.7) and that was one big bundle of No Fun. I hate earthquakes.
