Today is the day! Literary Starbucks: Fresh-Brewed, Half-Caf, No-Whip Bookish Humor is now available to purchase in stores. We know. We can’t believe it either.
Once again, we want to thank our amazing agent Christopher, and Fischer-Harbage, as well as Sylvan and the rest of our phenomenal publishing team over at St. Martin’s Press, for making this dream a reality. It’s been about a year and a half in the making, but it’s really here.
The Literary Starbucks book contains posts you may recognize from the blog, but it also incorporates never before seen authors and characters into the narrative of a single day at a very bookish coffee shop. Personas interact across the pages, making friends, sowing discord, all the while just trying to get their caffeine fix. Some people we’ve gotten requests for repeatedly over the two years this blog has existed finally give their Literary Starbucks orders in this book. All of this is not to mention the fantastic illustrations that complement the narrative, done by none other than New Yorker cover artist and cartoonist Harry Bliss.
We are so humbled and thrilled to be sharing this book with all of you, our fans and followers, without whom this work wouldn’t exist. So thank you, everyone who has ever read, followed, or shared this blog. We raise our coffee cups to you! Now go out there and keep reading. Hopefully our book! But more importantly, any books.
