Jello shots meet Halloween Party. I think this is the first time I've ever heard of needing a designated driver for a Jello mold...

I've heard of cross-dressing, but cross-career dressing? And then the second thing you think of is museum...*smacks self.*

So NSFW - but it is coming out day, isn't it?

I like boys. So there.

[livejournal.com profile] tdj, do you know my friend [livejournal.com profile] poetpaladin? Go take some pictures together. You'd do well with each other.

More Japanese clothes than you could possibly need for a two week cosplay.

I'm going to go fall down now.

I love the brain jello mold. A friend of mine has had one for years that she uses for her halloween parties. Last year I made it a sickening grey, with gummy worms inside.

We're going to a Halloween party combined with a relative's birthday party next week, and it's at a home that generally doesn't have alcohol, but it'd be fun to make that with just coffee and cream. :)

Ooh, all those wonderful Japanese clothes... I want some hakama, a short kimono top and a haori jacket, and some happi coats...

Guess I'll have to make them myself.

We've had the brain jello mold (with or without booze) making the rounds of our social occaisons for years. I warn folks to REALLY chill the sucker, it tends to sag.

A friend used his brain mold to make vegan jello, but the vegans in question were horrified at eating something that even looked like a brain. ;)

Last Halloween party featured a ghastly blackish one, and since my darling and I happened to have dressed as zombie prom king and queen, we took the platter around, growling "Braaaains? Braaaains? Spoon?" and offering them a plastic spoon with which to sample the brain. Too much fun. (We made blackish clear because the cream ones are generally too revolting to eat.)

I have a [human] heart-shaped jello mold -- and my jello often prompts a need for designated drivers.

Oh! Something random and fascinating? Do you ever watch Alton Brown? He recently did a gelatin episode where he showed how to make a penne cotta brain! *grins* Yummm....
