Everything is soaked outside, we lost power last night and the dog woke us both up in who-knows-what hour of the morning, soaked and scared witless.

And gray, cold and cloudy continues today. Welcome to fall.

Me, I have guava jelly to make. SAH-lute.

Oooh. You have guavas? I haven't seen the fruit since I moved into this country. Where do you find them?

Previous owners planted a tree in the backyard - that's where mine are coming from. Pineapple guava - stinky as hell but they make really good jelly.
