Object of the Week: Tumbler, probably Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, probably Baltimore, Maryland, United States, 1775-1799. 55.4.180.
The person who ordered this glass must have been prosperous. They could afford a specially inscribed piece. Unfortunately, the name is quite common. We do not know who ordered the tumbler.
