Anyone else out there watch Monster House?
If you have, or if you did tonight, could you please help get my brain unfouled? Dog House. They went back and got all the losers and shitheads from five previous builds and thought it was a GOOD IDEA?!
Fergeddaboutit. I don't need to watch a two hour trainwreck.
Do you think I could get away with wearing my "Put a Brain in the White House" t-shirt with my dark-blue hoodie to the polls tomorrow? Brain, as in "Pinky and the Brain." It was Cliff's shirt first - it's from the 1996 campaign.
Can't believe it's almost time. Gambatta no matter what.
I have a sniffle, thank you very much. A little fatigue to match it, and I'm sure I've caught one of the three colds running around the place. *sigh*
Tonight, the plan went from Dave & Busters to a couple of brats and rosti from Alpine Market...and plenty of chocolate. We'll blow it out a bit wider once we're both feeling better. (Jim's back on Cipro for another UTI - urg.)
Another milestone today - Credit Suisse finally closed the bank account Cliff and I had while we were living in Zurich. Originally a Bank Leu account, Bank Leu was taken over by Credit Suisse - and since it wasn't SF 30,000 or more, they closed it. Sent Cliff a check, and it arrived today.
I have to have fun tomorrow cashing it. Wish me luck. Cliff never lived here, and I don't know how hard this is going to be. I've got a death certificate...to be handed that today is ironic in the extreme. What was left in the account was what was refunded from my AHV cash account once I left Schmid Telecom AG - so it's actually my cash. *sigh* I really did try to keep that account open, but I never could get my name added to the account...even though everything I earned had gone into it just the same as Cliff.
Going to settle down and rest some. This won't keep my off work, but my ass will be dragging, you can be certain of that. Bah.

Date: 2004-11-02 10:52 am (UTC)My guess is that they tried to see if they would act differently, but they didn't. You would have thought that about 5 minutes into the taping of the second show, they would have said "it's exactly the same as the last time"
If anything, it really made me question their motives. Sure it was interesting television, but do we really need to watch every little arguement?
