Here are donation likes for various organizations that are going need funding for the next four years. (tried to go with orgs not getting as much attention right now)
If you can’t volunteer your money there also ways you can donate your time to these organizations as well.
The National Resources Defense Council (For environmental reform): https://www.nrdc.org
The National Center for Lesbian Rights (Despite the name this organization lobbies for the rights of all LGBT people) : http://ift.tt/MrIm5k
International Refugee Assistance Project (This is what it says on the tin): http://ift.tt/1itvGU0
The Southern Poverty Law Center (monitors hate crimes in the United states): http://ift.tt/1oJi5kg
Council for American Islamic Relations (you can donate or volunteer): http://ift.tt/2eZ9gD6
The Black Youth Project (fighting racial injustice, this is another volunteer/ donate opportunity): http://ift.tt/245GUtj
Planned Parenthood (reproductive health care for women and trans people): http://ift.tt/2iIyKVT
Moms Demand Action (This is for gun law reform and was found in response to Sand hook): http://ift.tt/1olrbi4
Please, please add more organizations to this list in reblogs. I know there have been a lot of statements and lists like this going around the internet and tumblr. And of coarse not everyone has the means. But where in it for the long haul with this one, so if you have the time or the means please give what you can, or encourage others to do so.

Calls work best, as someone has to answer, but hand written letters stand out as well. Please tell them about any or all of your concerns in a calm respectful manner. Congress elections are often pretty close and so calling can have an impact.

Hi, this is awesome. Consider also supporting Jewish movements. It’s frightening – and a symptom of the anti-semitism/apathy in social justice movements towards Jewish issues – that you can have a swastika on here but no mention of Jewish causes. I humbly suggest the American Jewish Committee:
