“You may be morally troubled by abortion”
I’m ALWAYS going to be more morally troubled by the fact that we keep letting men esp white men try to tell women and people who get pregnant that they aren’t allowed to make their own choices on their own bodies.
That victims of violence aren’t allowed a way out of emotional and physical punishment for being victims. That forcing children to have children. That a victim of sexual assault isn’t as important as the potential person inside them. That the rapist has more rights than she/they does/do.
The way the law is written they can get in trouble for having a miscarriage. As if having a miscarriage isn’t already a lot for a parent to deal with let’s tack on a felony because these men don’t understand how basic health works.
There is no moral middleground on this. If your conscience is “MORALLY TROUBLED” you need to fix your fucking moral compass
