My very bestest friend in the whole wide world is getting sent to Austin for training.

Yeah. He gets to go to Austin on the company nickle and I get to eat my napkin in frustration. Three times I've had to go to Texas. Three times I've been sent to Dallas. Not once did I get sent to civilization.

i lived in dallas for about 15 years. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Unless you really fancy sleazy strip clubs and over-priced shopping. But austin, yeah, austin is fun. I visited there a few times. not quite my cup of tea, but certainly better than anywhere else in the state. sorry you got the short end of the stick :(
