They wanted to discharge Mom today.

With drains in both ends - and running a fever. Sis said no. I'm sure she said a number of other things, but NO will suffice for historical purposes. Stay tuned.

Again, I say unto you. I'm sorry for anyone who gets through Sis and has to deal with me. Not because I'm the bigger hardass, but because that means you've had to get through someone with something close to a tactical nuke. And if it's over Mom, it's on.

That's assuming there's something to fight over, of course.

We all have a copy of Mom's DPA for health care - and we're nowhere close to needing it today.

But it's another reason why I love my Mom.

And I'm as certain as I breathe air that she loves me.
