I've fielded two calls from younger brother today. One on the cell phone, the other on the cell phone's VM. Work's cell phone. *rolls eyes*

I get my own phone account, tell it over and over - but everyone had that number first, and you'd think it was tattooed on their arm. Or something.

Anyway. They want to do a procedure on Mom to resolve this urinary tract blockage that sent her to the hospital - they postponed it from yesterday (after keeping her NPO after breakfast through dinner), and today, they're postponing again. And giving a unit. Two days ago, they postponed doing that as well. Mom's counts are hovering right around that zone where they want to give a little blood - up, down - and today, I think they decided to err on the side of caution.

They also changed the antibiotic after cultures turned up something (imagine that) - but the good news is that the creatinine clearance has improved down into the low three's - if it falls into the 2-3 range again, I'll be happy to tell the doctor "I told you so."

Two days, and it's a week. *sighs*

I've also got to take my car in - after the oil change, I now have a "service engine soon" light - whee.

And work has been teh bizzy today. Dizzy bizzy, but it's all good.

Another busy day tomorrow, I can sense it already - AND - it's raining. Call the National Guard. Water is falling from the skies in Southern California. Who'd have thunk it? /sarcasm

SO - I take the information, write my BIL a note on email to get the information to Sis, because, well, younger brother can't reach her himself.

I can only guess what older brother is getting - but I'm certain he's getting it from BIL.

Watching my siblings do this dance of panic and information management, I can't help but realize that I did both these jobs with Cliff. And I had mailing lists on email - that's how everyone got notified.

Just keep shifting the news around - yupyupyup.

I need to update my checkbook. I also need a nap.

Still working FFX - and enjoying the artwork verra much. "Was that a boss?" Jim asks me. "No, dear. Just a wandering Grue thingie." It has a nice balance of tough enough to keep my attention, and doable enough to keep me going through without holding me up wandering in circles biffing stuff for experience levels. (One thing I HATEHATEHATE is wandering in circles just to whack stuff. BOOOORING.)
