When [livejournal.com profile] unclejimbo and I were in Japan last year, I made a point to sit down and simply watch some of the television.

We managed most of it watching morning magazine television eating breakfast, which was amusing in its own right. (45 minutes on how to fold laundry. No kidding.)

But one of the shows we did catch was Fullmetal Alchemist.

Episode 25.

Yeah.

We watched, we wondered what the eff was up with the "person" in the suit, and obviously the character that just got squlked was very much loved.

I was good. I didn't tell anyone alllll year.

*yawns* Boy, the year went fast.

I saw FMA last night ;_;

I just started watching a few weeks ago. He was the first character I've seen. It's kinda sad really ;_;

I've recorded it last night, but my roomies have firmly claimed the TV, so I may not get to see it until tonight or tomorrow... I may not even get to see my Ghost in the Shell... *squawks*

I'm going to be in your neck of the woods all this week. (Redondo Beach, I think? Is that near you? The friend I am staying with says it's not too far from the city listed on your profile.) If you'd like to meet up and hang out at some point, send an email to drave117 at gmail dot com, and we can figure out a game plan.

I caught the episode several months ago - I came in on FMA a couple eps before it ended its run in Japan - and, damn, did that one crush me. Way too "art imitating life" for me in that funeral scene.

With your taste in beverages, don't miss the grand opening at BevMo at the corner of Hawthorne and Torrance Blvd.

Contact information going to email - you're VERY close.

I cried like a BABY over that episode. Yep.

Some eps before it and a lot after it made me sniffle, but that one made me bawl.

Yeah, I'm such a girl :)
