I heard this too many times yesterday. I was able to flip off a quick "Yeah, my kitties will appreciate that" when the shopgirls wished Sis and I a "Happy Mother's Day."

Sis, it's a given. She has two of the nicest, well-brought up kids I know. I engage her son in many, many plots and schemes against her - he's my best ally. Bwahaha.

However.

If. *sighs*

Two months, and that stupid office still has no clue if I have insurance coverage for the things they want to do. Leave a message. It's not supposed to be this hard, is it? Wait, fucking wait wait.

Shopping? Score. I have a nice little flippy black with pink polka-dots number that won't stop traffic or injure wildlife. I just have to make sure I have the proper undergarments - and that they'll be sufficient. I am much diminished, but that happens every time I try to wear something besides jeans and a top.

Oh, and my hair. Will have to do something with that. I think.

There are things to do, I'm sure. I'll call Mom and wish her a good one.

Motivated? I'm plenty motivated. See?

Hiya. That flower is lovely and the bowl is funny and shops *really* ought to think about what they're asking their staff to wish their customers on Hallmark holidays. I wonder if they have many women break down and cry because they're wished a happy mothers' day when they're going through IVF or adoption procedures or fertility tests or they had a miscarriage, and so on.
