Here's to the last Saturday -
Jul. 23rd, 2005 07:47 amJim's working both days this weekend, but this is the last Saturday he's going to work for a very long time.
He's gotten a permanent, full-time, days position at Kaiser. This is different from what he had been doing, which was strict per-diem, then per-diem with a permanent part-time position.
Now, the schedule is fixed. Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Sunday, yeah - but.
Fridays and Saturdays are off. Forever. Bwahaha.
So this is the last Saturday. Wave goodbye to it.
Dr. Whiz-Bang's office says we can try to do an insemination this cycle. Okay. I get to work that ovulation predictor into my morning routines from now on. (Don't forget to pee on the stick before getting dressed, okay dummy?)
Going out to Hemet today to fish out some things for the
open_yours project. If anyone is interested in joining that community, let me know - I should warn you that the projects are more demanding both in time, creative juices and expense. And they aren't on as regular a schedule as the
project29 stuff is. (Which I sent out yesterday during lunch. Biggest one I've ever done, but some of the items just wouldn't go into a smaller envelope. Such is life.)
I'll stop in and see Mom. She sounds good, but is still dealing with urinary tract infections.
Then I'll go up the hill.
I need to take some pictures of the kittens - the first one is going home Wednesday with her new owner.
*Yawn* Breakfast, and then the day. Booyah.

Date: 2005-07-23 06:23 pm (UTC)Those hours look familiar... except I'm 6:00-3:30 including overtime... and optional/somewhat mandatory overtime... which is where I am now.
Good luck with everything you gotta do today.
Any plans for either tomorrow or next weekend? =)
