Okay, the word is in from work.

10,000 pairs of shoes. That's more than what we found on 9/11 for the emergency workers in New York.

They're still negotiating a promotion with one of our larger customers for a fun-raiser. Shh. Can't tell you who yet. Will when I can.

But.

They're setting the coffee cans out and will match everything 100% until Saturday.

Uh, I'm getting on a plane Thursday night and will be out Friday.

No time for eBay.

What have I got that I can hawk from here - or get IOUs for - before then?

Well, I can go turn in the recyclables tomorrow.
Anybody want a disk full of Sims2 Sims? I got plenty with three generations of lineage. Ask me.
Bake you something - send you care packages at school if you're in the dorms....
Make you a grab bag of used books - mostly science fiction & fantasy, but I might throw some cookbooks in there.

Anything really crafty requires photographs and I don't have the time - really, just believe me on this one. I'm a little blonde blur right now, as is.

Postcard Of The Month Club?

Help me out here. Make me an offer.

Wonderfully generous of your employer. Shoes will most definitely be needed.

Wish mine did something :(

Go y'all!

My ex-employer is also doing 100% matching, so they and the RC got all my cash. And the swamplands may still get to borrow my honey to restore Internet access. (Wish they'd get back to him on that.)

And you being a blur, lady, it seems like we oughta make *you* some brownies or dinner or something.

Where are donations from your company going and is there any way for me to get some cash to you a.s.a.p. to give to them?

Dunno if this might help, but if the company ends with wierd tangible odds n ends, perhaps they could go here:

gakked from [livejournal.com profile] filkertom, who notes:
Some of the smaller charities are especially useful because some organizations, like the American Red Cross, can't accept direct donations of clothes and toys and such.
Also, one of the commenters there remarks that they've worked with them for three years.

Oh, let's say at least $5 for three - and let me know what you hate so I don't send those.

Paypal is at kyburg@earthlink.net -

DO NOT SEND CASH.

Go get a money order from 7-11 (I think they charge less than a buck for them) - and I put you down for $5.

Mailing address (it's a PO box, I'm not stupid):

1601 N. Sepulveda Blvd. #772
Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
