I'd like to know who these people were. They didn't abandon their patients. You know who I'm talking about. I'm talking about the hospital that euthanized their dying before escaping their hospital under fear from looters in New Orleans.

Not like that one place that left all their patients to drown. You know that story too.

Considering the situation, if I was a terminally ill patient in that hospital, I'd've presented my arm to the doctor, exclaiming "Don't spare the morphine!"

Like somebody who commented on that article said, the Army got mobilized within 16 hours to the middle east, but the federal response within national borders? Bah.

Ofcourse now those doctors will be seen as evil, and have lawsuits against them, etc... (sigh) This is why I could never be a doctor.

It's a horrible decision to have to make and a horrible outcome either way, but I know that I would rather die peacefully in a sleep from euthenasia than drowning, gasping for air and in pain.
