Sick, twisted and wrong -
Sep. 21st, 2005 10:19 amI've told you about the CD mixes you can get at Cost Plus Imports? The ones with tunes covered by artists outside the US and the UK? That are dastardly, wickedly twisted and wonderful?
Well, here. Have a taste:
Amanda Shankar - 'Jumping Jack Flash'.
When
jingoro was here, I went searching - briefly - for this disc, but came up with the Bluegrass Beatles album instead, as far as what I care to torment people with.
And we commiserated on the lackage of more Bebop and Sol Bianca. This little tune named above? That's the one that melded the two shows together on an inbound commute years ago - and listening to it this morning driving in made me a little nostalgic. Again.
Then it hit me.
Four characters in each show. That's a total of eight.
You can do eight Sims on a lot in Sims2.
It would take days in the hours needed in Body Shop to make it work - creating the costumes, faces and all -
But it could be done. It could be done.
Spike could meet April. Ed could play with May (and I think I'd have to make them both kids) and Feb could whoo-hoo Fay. Jet could hook up with Jan and everything would be groovy. It could work. I could watch Ed grow up - and Spike grow old.
But I think EK had it in one - Sims is twitchy. VERY twitchy.
That not enough to blow your mind? Here. Have some more whack.
I told Jing I wanted to do one DBZ video - just one. To a track with 50 drunken Russians singing "So Happy Together." Well, it might just as well stay between my ears - and earworm yours. I ripped the track.
Lennigrad Cowboys - 'So Happy Together' - featuring the Alexandrov Red Army Ensemble. No shit.
What was the quote from Titan AE? "I'm DONE with my nap!"
You should all fear, y'all.
