I came home and found an envelope in my mailbox. From Jeffrey Yamaguchi.

This Jeffrey Yamaguchi.

He's sent me a [livejournal.com profile] project29 envelope. With a copy of the book - signed. And other lovely things like magnets and buttons and postcards...*swoons*

I am reminded to be my better self. I have been a better self, and it's been slipping lately.

This...was one of the nicest surprises I've had in ages. So many thanks to so many people who remembered me.

*hugs* This is like getting that buttload of tiny valentines on Valentine's Day at school!

Now that I think upon it, you'd mentioned it back then, hadn't you?

[livejournal.com profile] project29 has been, by a wide margin, one of the best experiences I've ever had with LJ. Forget all the goodies - think about all the people I've met (yourself included) who I'd never have otherwise.

Incredible, mind-blowing stuff. Thanks again.

It's been overall one of the best in mine too, for the same reason. I think it really rocks.

And meeting you has been great! YAY!

you know, this is the first I have heard of this, but I thought, what an interesting idea! Reminds me of having pen pals way back when. Can I ask a favor? I went ahead and put my name in, but I guess all new people need to be nominated? When they list the names would you be willing and so kind to nominate me? If not, just let me know.

I'm always mailing stuff at the post office, would be fun to gather a bit of nice stuff and send it off to someone I don't know, might make their day!

And wow, how fun to get a envelope of cool stuff when you weren't expecting it...

I'll do the best I can - hey, you're local to me, aren't you?

We need to meet up over at Volks sometime soon!

Funny, I remember they said something about that last weekend....I have a porcelain doll head I painted waaay back in the day, but never got a body for her finished.

I think it may fit a Super Dollfie MSD - so I may be there Saturday. Be afraid.

Thanks for sharing..

The book is small, portable and succinct. I'd recommend a copy if this intrigues you.
