That post from the weekend with the talking cats? Check out the sidebar with other stuff in it. Holy moley.

I've got a lot of parents of austistic kids, and a number of autistic adults on my FL. That one's for you.

I just wonder how old the tape is. It's incredible.

Also - if you like planes as much as I do - check out the Red Arrows bit they have there as well. Wowsers.

Speaking of kitties, Tom caught a big squirrel on Friday (I know it was he because I saw him coming out of the woods with his kill), and Sprite went up as bold as you please and SWIPED IT AND ATE IT.

*laughs* Ask Tom how it feels to be "Mom" - such spoiled kids, I swear it. I'm certain that's how Rei kept her kids fed before they came to us - the one time Jim got to see her in action, it was sight - jump - catch - and dinnerbell!

Big fat rat. It's what's for dinner. She wouldn't eat her kill until the kittens had eaten first - so you can imagine getting Iams dry on the side made all the difference in her. (Five kittens can eat a lot of rat!)

Even now, the kitten Kibo thinks she gets to eat first, even though she's nearly full grown.

And Hiroshi grooms her at every opportunity he gets. It's very amusing.

Tom and Sprite have bonded amazingly; he's "Mom" in other ways, too. It's wonderful.

All of them got some of the squirrel after all, even though Sprite swiped it, and all they left in the end was part of the tail. I don't think any of the four of them were particularly interested in dry kibble that night.
