It's of interest that when I snark, I have plenty of company - but when I poke fun at my Simming, I play alone.

Answer to yesterday's pop quiz? I'm taking a page from the introduction of Magnolias to the United States, Family Name and genus and using the names given to the initial hybrids to the kids. Ah. Well. Maybe I've spent too much time at The Huntington Library for my own good.

We got to see [livejournal.com profile] digitaldraco last night! It was great! It was short! We need to do it again -

Honest. We have too many tabletop games that need more than two people to play well, and having him here just pointed it up.

I really do enjoy having him here - it's been a bugger of a week, but I think making the time (and he making the effort, holy merde) was well worth the experience.

Jim can make a mean spaghetti, too. *slurp*

And now? Now, I get off this thing and get ready for work.

I had a really bad addiction to the original Sims, back before any expansion packs were created for it. We're talking spending hours managing my virtual family whereas I couldn't manage spending 15 minutes with my real family. :[

So I'm basically been trying to convince myself that something as addictive as the Sims isn't in the cards ever since. For my own sanity. It got really hard around the time more than one person on my friends' list was obsessing over them (thankfully she's moved on to Animal Crossing, which is equally addictive... but at least I can divide my attention between equally addictive temptations) =P

Spaghetti = goodness. And I'm usually not a big spaghetti fan.

Huntington Library = also goodness. I <3 their Japanese garden.

Tabletop games = also also goodness. Enjoyed playing Guillotine with you guys, even though it was only one game.

And I always see the most interesting anime when I drop by. :)
