After today, two more days and then THANKSGIVING.

WTF.

How did that happen? It was just the 4th of July the other day - no seriously. It was 90 degrees and gorgeous here today. I had to water the yard, it was that hot and dry. Whiskey Tango FOXTROT Y'ALL.

Anyone want a tip for Christmas/Holiday/$WINTERHOLIDAY presents?

I'd like this:

Actually, I'd like anything these guys make. That makes sense, of course.

I took Sis to Lush on Saturday. I walked out with one bag - the BIG one - and she walked out with two. (In case you were wondering, there is no such thing as too many bath fizzies. Just so you know.)

The Pasadena store makes the Santa Monica one look pathetic. Honest. I swear. Anything Santa Monica can do, Pasadena does better, inland with less overhead. The only thing Santa Monica has is the weather, and a decent political climate - to a degree. (I should be hit for that sentence....)

Today has been a much better day, but it's also three days before we all go home and forget everything for four days. Oh, and includes turkey dinners and football. How can you lose?

Me? I have linens to iron before I sleep.

Santa Monica is too damn small. Seriously we're like what, 8 square miles? There's no parking! There's NO ROOM! Because no one understands the concept of building UP.

Pasadena would be nice if it wasn't a) ungodly hot and b) a long drive in terrible traffic. I hate them ever since they drove out the Pac Man arcade, too!

Now where are we going to play Para Para :(

At least Pasadena is cooler than the Valley! I tell ya, I'm glad I'm in San Gabriel, instead of Chatsworth. Eyurgh.

During the summer, the exodus from the inland begins. Everyone rushes down here to cluster around the beach, buy ridiculously overpriced food and complain about the other eleventy billion people having the same idea ^^

The only thing that can draw me into the Valley between the months of May and September is a well planned BBQ that involves either air conditioning or a pool (or both ftw!) Sadly, everything cool to do is inland :x At least, in my geeky definition of what's cool XD

Lushy Goodness
