Grab bag time. Web-style.

Back in the bad old days, when Yahoo may have had only a few hundred thousand sites in its crawl, they had a nifty little gadget on their search page to send you to a random URL. A different one every time.

I ganked that. Put it on my own pages as an easter egg. And I don't think they've posted it in a long, long time - but I still have the code.

Go nuts. Language choice just as random. Different site every time. Just go back and click again.

Just like that old box of chocolates. No, you have no idea what you're gonna get.

Need to test your email server? Got a lot of lentils left over or received a box of loquats from the neighbor's tree?

As for piccies, I've always liked apodthe NASA Picture of the Day.... of course, you have to be a space nut to appreciate us, but, hey, you're flapping your fingers at a second-gen NASA contractor, so... :)

I love it and I stole it. A good daily recipe site is The Campball Recipe of the Day they email one daily and some are great, they give you your own file cabnet on line to house the ones you like and you don't get junk mail from them.
