However, I was sorely tempted this morning, because I really want you to see this.

Bing Crosby & David Bowie perform on Crosby's last Christmas Variety Show in 1977. Crosby is 74, Bowie is 30 - and Crosby would pass away before it aired.

But what a tune, arrangement and performance. It's a treasure.

I have the CD with it somewhere, if anyone wants a rip - let me know and I'll search some more.

I'm still struggling with the Christmas card labels - gambatta, neh?

If you find the CD, I would love to get that. I loved Bing, and now he has the added nostalgia to increase the appeal of his music.

One of my friends linked this the other day, but sans the background info. It was pretty cool to watch. Knowing that Bing died before the broadcast makes this more special. I never saw this clip before Wednesday, it's priceless. Thanks to friends and YouTube!
