His ordeal began Wednesday afternoon when a 92-year-old Hickory Hills woman stopped her car to compliment her neighbor on the new dog. As they talked, she was unaware that the dog's leash had become entangled in her bumper. When the woman drove away from the neighbor, she pulled his hapless 4-month-old springer spaniel behind the car.

Unbelieveable story. Unbelievable ending. All true.

i cannot believe that first story... i was so upset at the idea of that happening, and then ridiculously crying in relief at the end. i'm just a sucker for positive-ending animal stories, i guess. though that does sound like something out of fiction.
