Administration :
digitaldraco,
charlesks,
riverheart, shoes are on order.
divalea,
elfwench, boxes are going into the mail Friday.
fabulous_papaya,
catsonmars, no love on Coachella housing this morning. On a waitlist, which is more than I had yesterday.
Umm.
Was MOST community-minded over the weekend, taking in both the Art Night Pasadena on Friday night and the Torrance Fire Department's Spaghetti Dinner/Fundraiser on Saturday.
Art Night happens again in the fall - think we'll do it again. Free admissions to as many venues as you can get to - next time, I eat first. Think General Telephone Night at Disneyland, only for museums and other art venues. Very cool.
Sunday, I did housework. Bills. Checked out the new expansion pack for Sims2, Seasons.
Oh my. I don't think anything has been such a breath-taker since I first saw the original Sims ported over to this platform. I'll likely send some babbling over to
simsdesoleil later today, but it's worth every penny...but buy the guide, too. There's too much to try to figure out by trial and error, and the user guide that comes with the software spends most of its time explaining how to disable virus checking while you're playing your game. Seriously.
I await the porting over to the Mac platform with mixed feelings. It is a HUGE resource hog - and the hallmark of the Mac ports has been an increased stability over the PC. I wonder if it's going to make it -
We are not in the path of any of the brush fires on the news right now. It is also very, very toasty here at the moment. While a lot of my friends are still digging out from under snow and whatnot. This is very surreal. And unfair. And I keep telling everyone THIS is the time to visit California - please take me at my word, willya?
March 17th, the kimono show is coming back to town - anyone want to come with me?
Disjointed as hell, and superficial to boot. Must be a Monday. Now in progress, come to think of it -
