I have Working Assets Wireless. You want some good telecom, I'll give you some of it. They've been my long-distance provider for five years now. Love 'em to itty bits.

Had a phone. Worked good, that phone. But...they had a RED one. And, if you ask anyone, anything gets better when it's turned BRIGHT RED. And shiny.

So I called them, and they sent it out to me, no charge. I guess I was due for a new phone. The downside is that WA does not use sims in their phones, so I had to re-enter everything.

And the bright red shiny doesn't have a camera in it. Didn't use the one in the old phone, because I'd have to pay a bump every month to get the little shits off the phone. Tagging contact entries with pictures cool - but not necessary. And I should buy one of those tiny little digital cameras to put in the purse anyway. They're small enough these days and I can download the pictures off onto Balls when I want something.

One, if you think I should have your number, say something.

Two, if you want WA (and I already have a phone you can use), say so. It's in perfect working condition, just a couple of years old.

The bright red shiny also allows me RINGTONES - which the old phone didn't. I'll have to talk to [livejournal.com profile] catsonmars and [livejournal.com profile] kiyone about hacking some decent J-Pop on it soon.

This has been your geek alert for the day. *bows*

I was lucky -- turns out my laptop has Bluetooth, so I am able to get photos off my camera and into 'the system.' Now if only they were better than 640 by 480 resolution.

My mom is thinking of switching us to WA. How's the service?

How good is Sprint where you are? They're resellers for them. (I've had little or no trouble at all with them.)

I don't know, I've always used Verizon.

Unless you've heard something bad regarding Sprint reception in your area, they'd likely be a good fit for you. They operate much like any other service provider (you have contracts to commit to, of a year or more in length), etc. But you also get your bills on recycled paper and they'll write your congresscritter for you if you like on some issues (and bill you on your phone bill for the postage and ink).

They've been a good fit for me for years now.

I'm waiting for T-mobile, I think, but I may go to WA at some point. We're on Verizon now because that is what works at the house, and that's where we most need it to work (it's our way of keeping in touch with each other).

I had my phone up where you were - do you remember me having issues? I can't recall.

Maybe I just need to come back up and check again. ^^

WA sold my name and address to everyone in the western world, even after I told them not too.

I don't think they did mine - I suspect someone they support did. How do I know this? The post office box, which is where everything went during the move, has all the junk mail. Home? I know where they got my information and it wasn't WA.

I love 'em. And anyone worth their salt in fundraising sells their lists. they have to. (Just to who is what matters.)
