I've told you shit always happened in August, right?

That means I spent a lot of Rosh Hashanahs at Cedars-Sinai. I remember lots and lots of blue carnations and very gentle best wishes.

Holidays are for celebrating. I've always believed that if there was one, there was good reason to pay attention and respect it - no matter who it belonged to.

It's why I get really nervous getting sick this close to Yom Kippur. On rosh Hashana it is writting, and on Yom Kippur, it is easled, who will live and who woll die in the coming year. So getting sick this time of year feels like a shot across the bow.

Yom Kippur never registered. Funny, that. It just seemed that everyone was so concerned with making us welcome on Rosh Hashana - kind of like the homecoming feeling we get around Christmas when the family/friends get together.

For me it's always October, bad things happen in my life in October. The weather always is gloomy too.

*nods* October is *the* month the mental health professionals watch most closely. That month, with January/February? Highest level of new cases reported and the most deadly.
