There's actually a line or two in the Koran that mentions the squabbling Christians and Jews and how we simply can't get it together because we can't decide how much of our shared Bible is canon or not, and miss the entire point because of it.

You can imagine the reaction in the bookstore when the book fell open to that page - I busted up. Keep in mind, the Koran is also not written entirely by a deity either - and is the "newest" of the texts - so the snarking is just amusing for its own sake. Yeah, this has been going on a while. And oh - believe me - the other faiths have noticed.

Screwing up in the Biblical sense, I honestly believe, has its own penalties besides the ones You're Gonna Get When You Die, and those are the ones we're being cautioned about. Quibbling over a naturally occurring event? Nah.

We are all in service to one another, as we are all in service to God - ignore that at your own risk.
