She's been hand-raising these two kittens - feral mom, abandoned - Simba acquired a boy and kinda liked it. A lot.







The other kitten is Smokey - and made no problem making friends.



OH LOOK A SQUIRREL



This is behind the building Baker In The Forest was housed in - a patio with a creek running through it, thought I can't say you could ever make it handicapped accessible. Terrain just won't do it.

I've taken hundreds of pictures of this place. It's a favorite spot.

Nope - there's still a little red X there. According to what I see, between simbacover and simbastand, there's an image tag for jimbandsimba. I see jimandsimba further down the page, and assume the former is just an error.

It's so cute that little Simba there is comfortable enough to let him hold him like that. My 10 yr. old orange tabby Ringo is so big it's hard to imagine him ever being that small.

It's been my experience that the ones who start off liking to sit that way on your arm, continue to like it. Even when they're 30 pounds. Some of them even like being turned upside down just to have their tummy scritched.
This is made up for by the spooky ones who won't come out until they're sure you're really pinned down in your chair by your computer addiction, and *then* they will come out and jump in the way and demand proper attention. By. Whatever. Horrible. Method. This. Requires.
