I'm still home, waiting for the oven repairman.

Yup. My birthday, and the oven breaks. With 20 people coming for Thanksgiving. Yes, I am waiting for the repairman to show up.

I have an Amazon list, and a Think Geek list...but there are some things that don't really go on those -

For one, I still haven't been gifted my tarot deck. I'm told you don't buy these things for yourself - so, I haven't.

Another? Long, "fireplace" matches for lighting candles. I have the propane firestarter thing, but it's a PIA to light candles and incense with.

*taps chin* I'm sure I'll come up with other things. Problem with being broke, you stop thinking about anything past gas and lunchmeat.

*Smiles softly in thought of your mention.* I remember when I got my first tarot deck. The Thoth, and then the rider. Both from my birth mother. I bought a deck for myself once...and it disappeared. That shows, me, huh?

Maaaaybe...I just found your Yule gift. *Grins*

Tip: When you get the long matches, use them over and over. You just light the match with a lighter.

It makes sense, I tell ya!

{{hugs}} I'm sorry, dear heart. I wish there was something I could do other than offer comfort.

Hsppy birthday!

What sort of experience do you have with tarot? Do you have preferences or traditions you follow? Inquiring minds want to know.
