I came home this afternoon, to find a box.

Okay, no worries - there are lots of boxes coming right now. But this one, I hadn't been expecting.

It was the Time-Life DVD pressing of the entire Man From UNCLE TV series. ALL OF IT. (Cute lil' carrying case and everything.)

I've been busy corrupting Jim. I'll be corrupting folks on Christmas Eve. (Like GITS:SAC? You ain't seen nothing yet.)

I was too young to stay up to watch this when it was in its original run - and while there were some professional pressings, they weren't of the ones I really liked or wanted.

This is all of them.

And I just finished watching "Mad, Mad Tea Party Affair" - for the first time in over fifteen years.

I am very happy.

Ah, you should be happy. Yes. Enjoy "The Project Strigas Affair" and the one with Shari Lewis, and the one with Sonny and Cher, and "The THRUSH School for Boys Affair" and "The Deadly Bees Affair" and all the others. Thrill to great lines like, "Limping Bunny is over there." I've seen the show recently enough to know I still love it, so nobody can throw me off by talking about how cheap it looks to them now. I have a lot of episodes on tape, from carefully monitoring reruns over the years, but I know they shaved stuff out of them to fit in more ads (thanks, Pat Robertson), and the DVD set would be just grand.

Though I think my first purchase would be the "Mission: Impossible" set, at least the first three seasons. That was good stuff too.
