Holy cow. The crap is just flying lately, huh? You know, I had serious hopes for the new year bringing in different luck, but we're only up to the 17th of January and I've already been to one funeral earlier this week and now that I've lost a friend to a car wreck last night I'll be attending another service this weekend most likely.

Screw this year. Can we have a do-over?

If it helps I just got my dentist bill yesterday. Sigh. Enough to buy a new DSLR, lens, and a flash. I mean seriously I had never heard of re-doing a root canal but the damn thing cost more than a new one! GRRRR.

Anywhere between a third and half of my inheritance check is going to buying gridlore's dentures (and all of the accompanying extractions, bone planing, etc.). His first consultation is a week from tonight. Wish us both luck.

Sad how dental insurance doesn't may much. I, thankfully, only had to spend about $700 last year. I hope 2008 will continue to be low cost dentalwise, since I have to spend money on glasses this year.

Read "Tooth Truth" and you will never trust dentists again.I always remember when I go to my dentist I am the one to gives the final decisions.They always lay me down on their dental chair with something in my mouth and discuss the procedures that they want to do.I always manage to sit up...and always take the info home and think it over.Plus please get a copy of tooth truth,and read it I am amazed and what they teach dentists in dental school(and my father was a old school dentist to boot!!
