So not a Democrat, and now you all know why.

Just saying.

..

Oh, Feinstein - make your warbucks while you may. Jerk.

See the surprise on this face? Yeah, THAT surprise.

What did she do today?

And btw, Boxer is a pretty rockin' dem, so don't knock them too hard.

If the party had its collective poop in a group, the Greens might be something to think about. Right now, I'm better off a solitary.

What did she do lately? Voted right along Republican party lines with regards to your personal freedoms...which the terrorists hate.

So does everyone around, it seems like...at the rate they are disappearing.

Yeah, but this is nothing new. She's always voting with the republicans on key issues. If you're talking about the retroactive immunity issue that was on the senate floor Monday, that doesn't really surprise me.

I try not to think that she's a dem, so much as a spawn that no one can bother to get rid of. And worse. You write to Feinstein ever? She will outright tell you in so many words that she doesn't care about your opinion on _____ cause, and that you'll just have to be fine with that.

Last time, I voted for her opponent, just because I dislike her enough. But until someone comes up with a better solution, we'll be stuck with her. So maybe you should be thinking of running for the senate, because no one else is.

BTW, the terrorists LOVE the way the our country is running. Don't be swayed into thinking differently. Remember in 2k4 when Bin Laden supposedly endorsed Bush? I do.

She just mailed a BOOK to Jim justifying her vote for the latest Attorney General. It was, in so many, words...insulting.

Run for office? I'd like to keep sleeping nights. Holy cow.

Yeah, Feinstein's an arse. Fortunately, Boxer isn't. At least we've got her going for CA. Hell, even Pelosi's an ass, for her "If you elect me, I promise to turn a blind eye to Shrubby's naughty doings," BS.

It really peeves me that not a single elected official has bothered to lift even a finger at the Bush administration for their atrocities. And I fully doubt that anyone ever will. I can only hope that they all get arrested in other countries for their heinous/ crimes.

/backs away from the soapbox.

And with regards to sleeping nights, if Bushyboy can sleep at night, so can you! :D Seriously, you're outgoing enough, and an earnest worker. You'd probably get stuff done. Otherwise, I wouldn't have suggested it.

Checking the voting record. Get a beer first, as there's nothing to be done at this point.

Still have me lost. Are you talking about the CIA/Field Manual thing? I don't understand what's wrong.

That, the fact she's giving the telecoms a pass on wiretapping illegally...voting for someone for Attorney General because she was too scared about who she'd have to deal with in an interim apppointment if she didn't (WHAT) and so on...and on. And on.

Okay the wiretapping thing is not cool, but what's wrong with preventing the CIA from waterboarding, etc?

I don't know the new specific thing she did today, but it's amazing how far Sen. Feinstein has fallen in my esteem since the late 70s. She really wasn't a bad mayor of SF, particularly in the difficult circumstances she inherited the position during.

Feinstein's giving San Francisco, California, Democrats, women in politics, and quite a few others a bad name these days. Grr.

And if I write to her to complain, half the time I get a very sanctimonious reply. SNARL.
