Tonight is our homestudy appointment with our social worker - we've cleaned the house so completely, I'm surprised it's still standing. ^^

I'm really happy with the way Xander's room is coming together - watch me take down that crib though, probably until we get Sierra's placement and we know how old she will be at that time. It's entirely possible we'll never use it - but, until then, we won't know.

Colors? RED. YELLOW. ORANGE. Primary colors - start with yellow, as that color has been favored - as much as we know today.

I'm looking to wrapping this up, getting the rest of the documents in and the dossier off to Taiwan to get the process underway. And the more I read about Taiwan...the more excited I am to actually visit the place. This...is going to be fun.

Ahh, you two will do marvelously. I was so worried, and I found that the actual social worker visit was not anything as worrisome as I thought it would be.

Good luck with the homestudy. I know I was nervous having a social worker come to our house when Alan was being enrolled in early intervention through the school district.

Don't forget to include some red in the room... red is a 'lucky color' in the Chinese culture (IIRC) and it couldn't hurt to have a splash of it there to help with the transition from Taiwan to the States...
