I went to my 30-year high school reunion Saturday night. Stop laughing.

Let me tell you a little secret.

You can wait thirty years, but you know what?

The people you went to high school with will actually be glad to see you.

...and high school - even college? SO not an indicator of how the rest of the story goes. And there's LOT of story after high school. Trust me on this one.

My mother (who graduated from college 40 years before I did) used to tell me that something like this would happen, but it took me, oh, 20 years or so to start believing it....

Hmmm. I missed my 10 year reunion, because the person organizing it was not so savvy. That was in 2003. Also, I was moving. My mom thought that things get interesting after 20 years, so I figure the 10 year? No big loss.

We'll see what happens in 2013, I guess.

Went to my 20th, and it was interesting, and I was received very well - but largely, people were Much The Same. Jocks, Cheerleaders, the lot.
