Weight Watchers as a RPG.

No, seriously. Take a look.

*laughs*

Anyone who has seen me micro-manage my Sims can attest to this. And I still claim that if you follow the rules...and really, follow them *exactly*...the system works.

Exactly means weighing everything. Charting everything. Drinking the water and getting the exercise...exactly.

Oh, and you jump on the scale more than twice a year. This morning's reading was about 137 - which is about 4/5 lbs above goal and I'd be penalized if I showed up at the center, cos' that's more than four pounds over goal. But. It sure as hell isn't everything gained right back within a year, and I know what needs to be done to shift that back down to goal again (and sitting at the computer eating salad mochi crackers ain't it).

Gamers make good weight losers. I swear it.

I play video games instead of eating snacks. Anything that keeps both by hands occupied preferred.

I just started the WW thang, after literally banging my head against the wall, almost starving myself, working out for hours on end, and only loosing 8 lbs in a month and a half. I go back for my 2nd meeting (I get the bookmark! yaay!) tomorrow - my fingers are crossed at what my weigh-in will be....

Good article though.... very appropriate! except as you "level up" you loose points....
