Yes, I knew the man. I swear, he never got any older. And maybe it was just me being 15 - but he always looked that old - and never changed.

Forry Ackerman - the VIP-est of VIPS' - is gone, at the age of 92.

Story says he had no kids. Paugh. Feh, and BAH I say.

I just wish I could have been a better kid.

I never met him, but how could you have any connection with SF in SoCal without knowing of him? I wish I'd taken the time to visit the Ackermansion at some point in living here, but, like museums, you feel like it'll always be there...
