No, I'm still sick. I'm not sick enough to justify staying home in bed, but I am definitely not well enough to do more than get to work, sit at a desk and then fall down exhausted after getting home.

Still clearly have a sinus infection that is driving one hell of a cough machine. Low grade fever that can pop up to 100 or so, but cruises around 99 and change most of the time.

Been to the doctor. They've given me three rounds of antibiotics and are now sending me to the specialist. Who is booked up until April 28th. They've suggested I contact my PCP and ask for help getting in sooner. Stay tuned.

I have nothing left over for anything more demanding than an hour of two of something like Sims 2 or Pokemon. Yes, I'd *like* to have Pearl done before the new games ship, why do you ask?

We have a new favorite on Nick - Team Umizoomi, the primary focus of which is teaching preschool math skills. Kid *loves* this show. We can play it and Secret Agent Oso interchangeably at night, but they've done something I could kiss their feet for - they've scheduled it early in the morning, say 5:30 AM? Like, our waking up hour?

This morning, Jim got up first, bumped around in the dark finding stuff and turned on the television in our room (with the intention of getting sound asleep boy out of his bed to bring him in to ours to wake up completely) and at the first few bars of the opening theme, VOILA INSTANT BOY. *Plop* Wide-awake, sitting up with his feet folded under him.

We've discovered the Summon Child charm. I don't think it works all the time, though. You have to create enough noise ahead of it for it to work at all, you ask me.

Yesterday, had a trip out to the warehouse where I had to walk it three times, and then went out to Cal Poly Pomona to see if could find where they were making beer on campus (hey, NPR reported it, I just wanted to see it for myself). I have the Josten's business card, was suitably impressed by the improvements to the campus (lots of new buildings and roads closed to vehicles, a big-ass parking garage) and found the wine, but not the beer. Campus also has a kick-ass farm store - and for a campus that is as well-known for its ag as well as its tech curriculum, a BIG plus. I'll be going out that way at least once a month for the forseable - I found lunch there and a bunch of Good. I'll be back.

But I got back to the house, expecting to put in a few more hours from home and crashed for three hours in complete exhaustion. I'm not well.

Today is defined by 'why is everything broken?' Stay tuned.
