Mom looks good - for someone with a septic infection. No fever, her color's a bit off - but she's a chatty Cathy, and we spent a good long time just hanging out in her hospital room this afternoon.

They're rennovating Hemet Valley Hospital again. The scuttlebutt says Tower I is going to have to come down sometime. When that happens, I want a piece of it. Maybe one of the number signs from third floor. For posterity.

I just about found my way there on autopilot. It's scary.

And I have gone there and back in one day again. Okay, so I was overestimating the gas needed - it's a tank, roundtrip. Maybe a tank and a half.

But I am tired. Sleep now. Sentience later.

OH - Aunt Marilyn brought old pictures for Mom to copy. Fear. I have pictures from grade school prior to 1973, when we lost all our copies in the first house fire. Fear, I tell you.

Thought this was a truly Bad Singular Event, until I talked to Sis - and there's been one sepsis event already, and Mom was much sicker with it.
