By Christmas Eve:

The carpets will be cleaned.
The house will have been visited by professional brownies. (Really. I'm hiring a cleaning service to get this place GI'ed, if you catch my drift.)
I want to have replaced the kid's bed with one of the two sitting on my front porch, and the second one in storage for Sierra. The current bed is liking to end up kindling. No, I'm not kidding. This is before the carpets are cleaned...oh yeah, FRIDAY.

I'm going to switch computers - the G3 goes into the office, and the Mini comes up front. And will sit on the desk next to the phone.

The piano will have been tuned.

We're going to have tamales for dinner Christmas Eve. There will be IKEA meatballs with sauce in the crockpot. Rice in the rice cooker. I'll make some sweet potato casserole. Ask Jim to repeat the awesome green bean casserole nobody got to eat but me Thanksgiving - extra fried onions FTW!

I'm also going to toss chicken nuggets and tater tots into the oven ahead of dinner as well.

Lunch is still up for grabs, but one thing I plan to have on hand, warm and ready is something vegan, gluten-free and delicious. What exactly yet, is uncertain. Delicious is MANDATORY. Stay tuned. For the majority, I may punt and go Hawaiian platters.

I think I may put Mexican Hot Chocolate out - but I'll need the decanter to do it. Oh woe. I may have to find one. Or call every thrift store in town to see if they got one in....

I think this one may be a cold one, even wet. *nods* Will have to be ready for that.

Oh, kid needs a Christmas blanket sleeper to romp in after 7 PM. Kid needs more blanket sleepers, period. Come to think of it.
