I've been over to Xander's journal and made some updates - people are friending and de-friending like normal...so in his case, I'm going to try to mirror the changes. You add - I add (unless you scare me) and if you drop, I'll try to do the same.

I'm also going to co-opt Jim to keep up with it as well. I try to do it all, you get what I can do by myself (SUCK).

I'm looking forward to flying China Airlines, to be blunt. It's all pink and purple and plum blossoms. GIRLY. Even the stewards wear shades of plum, purple and rose. Not unlike flying Hawaiian Airlines which was PUUUUUURPLE OMIGHAD. The only good part of United is the snippets of Rhapsody in Blue in the ads and inflight safety prep. (Favorite piece of music hint - I get stuck on a desert island, and that's the only thing I have? I'll be just fine.)

I have packed my clothes. I am proud to announce I will be wearing the only pair of jeans I will have with me the entire trip. Fear. (Hey, my agency said no denim. Okay.)

Also, people in Taiwan to pick up their kids are reporting on the boards that it is RAINING RAINING RAINING right now. Okay. Pack the Japan umbrellas, let's go.

Tonight, I pack his clothes and things. Tub toys. OH - have to go get the agency gift from Sees. They're having a sample sale here today - I'm going to go see if I can find something I can use as a 'diaper bag' - not that I think we're going to need the traditional one. We went out and got Xander his own little rollie bag to mirror the two (yes, Jim convinced me, we have to take both of the big bruisers) we'll be rolling behind us. Blue Hawaiian print. It's adorable. I'll put some of his toys and snacks in it, along with the extra clothes and such.

Now to get through the last two days at work. Fuuuun.

I'm SUPER excited for you guys. Do you know what languages and/or dialects he speaks at home? Methinks most likely Mandarin and Hokkien. I can teach you a few words to get by in the first few days if you want!
