Sick kitty.
Full on fatty-liver syndrome.
Boy, she thought she was having a rough patch before. Guess what. We get to force-feed the littletwit darling three times a day to see if we can't get her out of it...or else.
Diva kitty deluxe. *heaves HUGE sigh*
If something worse happens, this will GUT Jim.

Date: 2009-04-15 01:27 pm (UTC)Here's a random thought for desperate moments. My cats love coconut oil, the cooking oil grade. I give it to them for hairballs. You could see if your cat likes it and put a drop on what you are trying to make him eat.
I know fat is a problem and I'm suggesting an oil but the only other thing I can think of to entice a cat to eat is to mix catnip into the food. I have 2 plants and I let my cats eat it and get stoned all the time. They're the Jay and Silent Bob of the cat world. The dried stuff makes a good tea for when the one with a bad stomach can't keep anything down.
Trying to force anything into a cat is a nightmare and you already have your hands full. I am so sorry you have to deal with this now.
