FL, don't let me down. Those who have thyroid issues - what does a thyroid of 2.1 sound like to you?

According to the range given for 'normal' - it's about dead center.

According to the bloodwork done yesterday, that's where Xander is.

To say I'm pretty torn is an understatement. It's GREAT news.

But. Those who know the history, know the reason.

That numbers sounds GOOD, but you really want the entire thyroid profile to be tested: t3, t4, and TSH, and look at all the numbers together. However, since the number right now looks good, I would consider waiting 90 days to draw anything again. Because it takes time for these numbers to change, and that would represent another, separate normal test, and it's no fun to take a small child for labwork.

I think the free T4 they only do if the TSH comes up abnormal...and guess what. So I don't have it.

Calling the endocrinologist today to get an appointment - can hardly wait to see what she says!
