Let me see - what did they call it? Pneumonitis - that's why stuff is coming up blood-streaked.

(And every day of AX? Yeah - I was actually a bit better every day. Chew on that - I'd been worse coming in!)

What I hate the worst of all is the isolation. I simply can't talk. I can't interact. I'm back to work (hey, gotta pay the bills with something) and the fatigue is mind-killing.

But the things that bug me, still bug me. And I still see the things that bug me and I haven't got the umph to do diddly about them. And THAT bugs me.

So if I seem to be angry, frustrated and bitchy...well, I've got cornflakes down my shorts.

And lungs full of crap.

Latest formulation of cough syrup is compounded in 'peach-mint' flavored base. It's purple. It's as nasty as you think it is, and I have twice as much of it on hand.

I'd rather be talking about anything else, honestly.

One thing about pneumonia, once you have it, its yours for life. I got a bad case in Germany in 1970 and every so often I tear my lungs out with another case of bronchitis or something. Take care off yourself, you got a little one now.

Poor you. Our sympathies. Let us know if there's anything that we can do to help (short of a major evacuation of crud in your lungs, an infusion of antibiotics/antivirals, or calling "General Services" to do your job for you while you're recovering.)
