Aug. 6th, 2009 03:25 pmI married the cute one.

But he has two brothers, and here's proof positive they're a cut above - this is from the family reunion we went to a few years ago, and in the midst of all the 'line 'em up and shoot 'em' shots they took (most with less than happy faces, to be blunt), here come these clowns.
Nah, I'm not modest about this. They rock - and I got the good one.

Date: 2009-08-06 11:04 pm (UTC)I've got family photos like this one. Buncha clowns.
For my grandmother's 80th, which was partly fancy dress, my father said that he was retired and no was was he gonna wear a tie and jacket in 98 degree heat and humidity. His brother-in-law promptly backed him up, adding that he'd recently retired a CLERICAL collar and ties were right out. Dad proposed a nice guayabera shirt instead. The guys all got matching guayaberas. This led to at least one photograph of my saintly grandmother beaming from her seat of honor in pink dress and pearls, surrounded by a bunch of men in matching guayaberas trying to look like her Colombian cartel security guards.
I'm sure you can easily picture it, substituting in the above clowns and a family matriarch of your own. Dorktastic.
