They open at six and close at ten and have free wifi...potentials!

I've been to Swork, I don't really remember seeing a kids area. Or kids, for that matter, and I went on an afternoon (used to be right next to where I rehearsed once a week).

It's not a bad shop though, the coffee was decent. If you're coffeeing in Eagle Rock, you'll find lots of different independent coffee shops to choose from.

Why, yes. I could make a playdate there. Mr. Boy starts Kindergarten tomorrow (he's currently having NappyTime - Disneyland done wore him out, yesterday, and he lasted the whole day!), but his class doesn't start 'till 11:40 in San Gabriel. He gets out at 3.

Yeah, we could so totally do be there.

That's really odd for kindergarten hours - I always thought they started after breakfast, let out at lunch and that was the day.

I've got two years before I have to cope with a schedule like that - but is that normal?

He's in the afternoon track. The morning track was full. Heck, a phone call came in from another parent, and the office manager explained that both K classes were full. The way she said it indicated that she would shoehorn the caller's child in, somehow.
